Join an Iconic Hospitality Venue in the Heart of the Events District
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and passionate Duty Manager to join the leadership team of a well-established hospitality venue located in one of Australia's premier entertainment and events precincts.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading from the front, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Working closely with the Venue Manager, you will play a key role in leading daily operations, developing your team, coordinating functions and events, and driving consistent service excellence across the venue., As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for:
As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for:
Leading Front of House operations and service delivery
Coaching, mentoring and developing Hospitality Attendants
Driving exceptional guest experiences and service standards
Managing venue operations during busy service periods, functions and special events
Coordinating private functions and events from enquiry through to execution
Building strong communication between Front of House and Kitchen teams
Managing guest feedback and resolving issues professionally
Ensuring compliance with RSA, food safety and workplace health and safety requirements
Assisting the Venue Manager in delivering strong commercial and operational outcomes
About the Candidate
Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager,



Restaurant Supervisor or similar leadership position
A strong background within fast-paced restaurant, pub, event or hospitality environments
Proven ability to lead, coach and inspire teams
Strong food and beverage knowledge
A genuine passion for customer service and guest experience
Excellent organisational and communication skills
The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
A positive, proactive and team-focused approach

Current Responsible Person certification
Current Working With Children Check
Full Australian working rights
Availability to work a rotating roster
Availability to work evenings, weekends, public holidays and major event days
