As a Senior Cost Planner, you will:
Record and maintain cost and program data from tender submissions, ensuring it's accessible for future bids and shared with bid team members
Build strong working relationships with subcontractor partners, creating opportunities for them to convert on successful tenders
Assist in preparing detailed, accurate, and timely cost plans for projects, while contributing relevant insight into tender review meetings
Evaluate alternative program, material, labour, and budget solutions priced by subcontractors, liaising with other tender teams on impacts to their work
Foster productive collaboration across the cost planning team, project teams, and internal/external stakeholders, including participating in tender handovers and project review meetings
What will make you stand out?
5+ years' experience in estimating/cost planning
Experience working in the multi storey residential sector
Robust commercial acumen,



with the ability to interpret complex tender and subcontractor pricing data
A track record of building trusted, long-term relationships with subcontractors and trade partners
Excellent attention to detail when preparing cost plans under tight tender deadlines
Confident communication skills, with the ability to present cost and program information clearly to bid teams and stakeholders
Relevant tertiary qualification in Economics, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar
