Expression of Interest – Finance Consultants
SAHR is looking for Expressions of Interest from Finance Consultants for full time permanent roles, to support current project work with Federal Government clients. We focus on delivering high‐value finance management solutions across the public sector and support agencies to strengthen financial performance, governance, and decision‐making.
The opportunity
You will work across high‐impact finance projects supporting senior executives, CFOs, and program leaders. Engagements are project‐based and varied, offering exposure to complex government environments and meaningful reform initiatives.
Budget development and management
Financial and statutory reporting
Management accounting and performance insights
Costing and financial modelling
New Policy Proposals
Business cases and investment logic
Finance governance, controls, and frameworks
Who we're looking for
We are keen to speak with candidates at the following levels:
Consultant (Less than 2 years experience)
Senior Consultant (2-5 years experience )
Manager (5+ years experience )
About you




You will bring:
CA or CPA qualification
Experience in one or more of:
Federal government finance roles
Consulting or advisory environments
CFO / financial management functions
Solid Excel and database skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work confidently with senior stakeholders
Security clearance:
NV1 preferred (Baseline considered depending on role and project)
