Maintenance and/or Electrical Technicians (Night Shift)

We are seeking experienced Maintenance and/or Electrical Technicians to become part of our client's fantastic, rapidly growing team. Opportunities are available at their Braeside facility, with all positions operating on the night shift. You'll work 12-hour shifts (6pm-6am) on a 7-day fortnight roster which includes one weekend.
Previous experience working within a manufacturing facility is essential.
The salaries offered vary depending on the candidate's skillset and experience. Salaries are calculated based on a 10.8hr working day:
Maintenance Technician - Annual salary circa $134,784 + Super.
Mon - Fri - $*****ph
Sat - $72ph
Sun - $96ph
Electrical Technician - Annual salary of circa $140,400 + Super.
Mon - Fri - $65ph
Sat $75ph
Sun $100ph
Maintenance/Electrical Combined - Annual salary of circa $146,016 + Super.
Mon -Fri $*****ph
Sat $78ph
Sun $104ph
*Annual salaries are based on a 10.8hr working day and are calculated using the above hourly rates.




Core Responsibilities (these will vary depending on the role you are applying for):
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Tasks as per the weekly schedule.
Decrease the duration of all downtimes by rectifying them as quickly as possible, in a protected manner.
Actively monitor waste, attributable to plant and equipment, and immediately report to the Shift Manager and Supervisor, any instance where it exceeds the standard.
Provide diagnostic testing and maintenance services on a wide variety of electrical protection and control relays & equipment.
Ensure that all food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards are met or exceeded by BRC, HACCP, and GMP.
Assist the Engineering Department in meeting deadlines with the installation of new projects and improvements to current Plant & Machinery.
Skills and experience required:
Electrical Technician applicants must be A Grade Electrician.
Maintenance Technician applicants must have relevant qualifications & experience.
CMMS knowledge such as MEX is advantageous.
