About the role:
Processing fortnightly payroll and off-cycle payments accurately and on time
Reviewing and validating time and attendance records
Interpreting Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and payroll legislation
Maintaining accurate employee records and payroll data
Investigating and resolving payroll queries from employees and managers
Reviewing payroll reports, reconciliations, and journals
Supporting payroll compliance activities and legislative requirements
Assisting with process improvement initiatives and system enhancements
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the business
About you:
To be successful in this position, you will have:
Minimum 2 years' payroll experience, preferably within a high-volume environment
Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements
Experience using payroll and HRIS systems
Intermediate Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
A collaborative approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
