About the Role
We're looking for a solid, confident and experienced full time Cleaning Supervisor to join our team based in the Melbourne CBD area.
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you'll be responsible for leading a team of cleaners, ensuring quality audits are met and work with the broader site leadership team to ensure cleaning standards are achieved in alignment with the cleaning contract.
Responsibilities
Supervise and mentor a team of cleaning staff
Ensure all cleaning tasks per shift are completed to the required standard
Monitor and maintain cleaning schedules and rotations
Liaise with clients to address any cleaning-related concerns and ensure they are addressed in alignment with the respective dua dates
Ensure staff are trained with regard to work instructions to ensure quality standards are achieved
Report any OH&S; issues via the standard process
Assist with the recruitment and performance management of cleaning staff




Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend to the site Package Manager for implementation
What we're looking for
An experienced, confident and strong Cleaning Supervisor who is able to lead a team of cleaners to ensure performance targets are achieved
Experience operating cleaning machinery eg: pressure washing etc (desirable not essential)
Experience leading, coaching and mentoring a team of cleaners
Full Australian working rights or appropriate work visa
Australian Driver's License
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team and motivate others
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations
