Job Description
My Australia Direct Kerry Custom Works Pty Ltd are seeking a full time Glazier. Overview Kerry Custom Works is a family-owned glass fencing company providing bespoke solutions across Melbourne. Based in Altona North, the company has over 15 years of experience specialising in frameless glass pool fencing and balustrades. Our experienced team works closely with clients to deliver customised glazing solutions with a focus on safety, quality and craftsmanship.
We are now seeking a full time Glazier to join our growing team.
Duties
Measure and verify installation sites to determine the dimensions and specifications for frameless glass pool fencing, balustrades and other architectural glazing systems.
Read and interpret plans, drawings and project specifications to prepare materials and ensure the accurate installation of architectural glazing products.
Install toughened glass panels, pool fencing, balustrades,



gates and associated stainless steel hardware in accordance with manufacturer specifications and relevant Australian Standards.
Position, align and secure glass panels using spigots, channels, clamps, sealants and other fixing systems to achieve safe, durable and high-quality installations.
Safely transport, handle and install glass using appropriate lifting equipment and manual handling techniques while complying with workplace health and safety requirements.
Inspect completed installations and make any necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications and experience
Certificate III in Glass and Glazing or a related qualification, together with at least two years of relevant post-qualification experience, or at least three years of relevant work experience.
