Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer and supplier of innovative stormwater and civil infrastructure solutions, servicing major construction, plumbing and civil projects across Victoria and nationally. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an organised and hands-on Yard Coordinator to join their operations team in Hallam.
This is a varied role where you'll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the yard, ensuring stock, equipment and deliveries are managed safely and efficiently. You'll work closely with warehouse, production, transport and customer service teams while also completing occasional customer deliveries using company vehicles when required.

$75,000 – $85,000 + Super
What You'll Be Doing
This is a hands-on operational role combining yard coordination, inventory control and logistics support.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Coordinating the daily operations of the yard to ensure safe and efficient workflows
Organising stock, finished products and equipment for dispatch and customer collections
Loading and unloading trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment
Maintaining accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and cycle counts
Using ERP systems to create connotes, manifests, invoices and delivery documentation
Planning and coordinating delivery schedules with internal operations and transport teams
Conducting routine inspections of equipment, vehicles and yard machinery
Reporting damaged stock, equipment faults or maintenance requirements
Performing minor equipment maintenance and ensuring all equipment is serviceable
Maintaining a clean, organised and compliant yard environment
Ensuring products are stored safely and correctly to maximise space and efficiency
Assisting with local deliveries using company vehicles and trailers when required
Monitoring environmental and safety compliance throughout the yard
Liaising with warehouse, production and customer service teams to ensure customer orders are completed on time
Identifying opportunities to improve yard layout, processes and operational efficiency
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with previous experience in yard operations, warehousing,
logistics or manufacturing who enjoys taking ownership and keeping operations running smoothly.
You'll also need:
Current Victorian Driver's Licence
Current LF Forklift License
Previous experience in a yard, warehouse or logistics environment
Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment
Experience coordinating stock movements and inventory control
Ability to tow trailers or previous trailer driving experience (highly regarded)
Good computer skills with experience using ERP, warehouse or inventory management systems
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and prioritise multiple tasks
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
Commitment to workplace health and safety
Full Australian working rights
Experience within manufacturing, construction products, building materials or industrial environments will be highly regarded.
