We are looking for an experienced roaming audio-visual (AV) and video conferencing (VC) technician to manage the day-to-day AV/VC infrastructure across multiple client sites. You will deliver exceptional technical service, build strong client relationships and ensure all systems operate flawlessly.
What You Will Do
You will use your technical expertise to maintain functionality, diagnose issues and ensure service delivery.
Core Responsibilities:
Maintain and Optimise Systems:
Provide proactive, routine onsite service and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of all AV/VC setups.
Troubleshoot and Resolve:
Quickly diagnose and resolve complex AV faults, utilising your expertise in advanced fault-finding and service call-outs.
Document Everything:
Produce clear, high-quality service maintenance documentation and reports following preventative inspections and repairs.
Drive Strategic Upgrades:
Serve as the critical technical liaison, collaborating with clients, engineering and project teams. You will recommend modifications, design improvements and necessary system upgrades.
Support Work:
Backfilling for our Resident Service Technicians.
What You Bring
We rely on your technical foundation, problem-solving skills and ability to build rapport.
Essential Technical Skills:
Proven experience working with diverse AV equipment systems. Desirably mid level experience.




Expert knowledge of VC and control systems.
Demonstrated proficiency in fault-finding, analysing AV schematics and managing DSPs.
Experience or familiarity with LAN/WAN environments.
Basic networking and programming skills are highly desirable.
Professional Requirements:
You hold a trade qualification in electronics, communications or audio visual (or demonstrate equivalent industry experience).
You possess solid written and spoken English skills to maintain clear client and internal communication.
You must hold a current, valid Driver's License.
You own and maintain a personal vehicle suitable for work travel to various client premises.
Australian citizenship to be able to obtain and hold AGSVA clearance.
