Tactile & Safety Product Installer
to join our team on a
Full time basis
. This is a hands‐on position based in
Sydney, NSW
, where you will play a vital role in installing quality tactile and safety products that enhance accessibility and compliance across commercial and residential properties. As an installer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products are fitted to the highest standards, meeting both regulatory requirements and customer expectations. This role is essential to our mission of making spaces safer and more accessible for all users.
Key responsibilities
Install tactile products including tactile indicators, Stair nosing, Bollards and safety products in accordance with Australian Standards and project specifications
Prepare surfaces and undertake necessary pre-installation work to ensure optimal product performance
Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete installation tasks
Read and interpret installation drawings, plans and technical documentation
Ensure all installations comply with relevant safety regulations, building codes and quality standards
Conduct quality checks on completed installations and make any necessary adjustments
Maintain accurate records of completed work and report on project progress
Communicate effectively with site supervisors, project managers and customers throughout the installation process
Transport materials and equipment to job sites and maintain a protected working environment
What we're looking for
Experience as a product installer, tradesperson, or labourer within the construction industry
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation specifications
Competency with hand and power tools relevant to installation work
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering work to high‐quality standards
Excellent health and safety awareness with the ability to work safely on site
Good communication and teamwork skills
Current White Card (Construction Induction Card)
Reliable and professional approach to work with strong time management skills
Flexibility to work weekends or after hours due to varying project schedules
