Recruitment has partnered with a leading Australian shopfitting specialist delivering high-quality, design-led environments for some of the country's most recognisable brands. With a robust reputation for precision, craftsmanship, and end-to-end project delivery, the business continues to expand across national retail markets.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in joinery or shop-fitting to oversee the delivery of retail fit-out projects from concept through to completion. This is a fast-paced, client-facing role offering autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to manage high-profile projects.

What you'll be doing
Managing end-to-end delivery of retail fit-out and joinery projects
Coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
Interpreting drawings, specifications, and project scope
Overseeing production schedules in collaboration with the workshop
Managing budgets, cost tracking, and procurement
Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and site teams
Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget,



and to specification
Conducting site visits and monitoring installation progress
Managing project documentation, reporting, and compliance
Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and workmanship
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Project Manager in shopfitting, joinery, or retail fit-outs (
essential
)
Strong understanding of joinery manufacturing and installation processes
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Strong commercial acumen and cost control experience
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Trade background in cabinet making/joinery or relevant qualification (highly regarded)
