We are looking for passionate Head Chefs (Casual Opportunities) to join our Hospitality team, preparing high-quality meals at our Residential Services in Ashburton.




Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Prepare and serve high-quality, nutritious meals you would be proud to put in front of your own family.
Draw on your experience across multiple cuisines to bring variety and creativity to every menu.
Lead a team of kitchen staff including recruitment, rostering, supervision, teaching and delegation.
Uphold exceptional food safety, hygiene and compliance standards.
Reduce food waste and champion sustainable kitchen practices.
Perform confidently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
Bring genuine hospitality values and a willingness to grow within the Aged Care sector.
Hours of Work:
Casual opportunity.
Monday to Friday
Occasional cover for staff leave and special functions required.
Locations:
Ashburton
Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Working Rights in Australia
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (minimum)
Minimum 2 years of commercial kitchen experience
Experience in Aged Care preferred (not essential)
