At least an AQF certificate III or IV in Commerial Cookery
At least one (2) year of recent and relevant work experience
Position Summary: On behalf of our client, Global Skilled Employment Services is looking for an experienced and dedicated Pastry Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting a variety of pastries, breads, desserts, and specialty baked goods in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Duties and responsibilities:
Prepare and bake pastries, breads, cakes, and other baked products
Follow recipes and maintain consistent product quality
Ensure proper food handling, hygiene, and safety standards
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients
Work as part of a team to meet production and service timelines
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils
