Recruitment Consultant – Construction Trades & Labour Hire

We're looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our team.
This isn't an entry-level recruitment role. We're looking for someone who understands the pace of construction recruitment, enjoys building relationships, and takes pride in delivering a quality service to both clients and candidates.
You'll play a key role in developing new business, maintain existing relationships and work closely with both clients and candidates.

What you'll be doing
As a Recruitment Consultant, you'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle across construction trades and labour hire. No two days are the same, and you'll be responsible for building strong relationships, delivering exceptional service and growing your own desk.
Your responsibilities will include:
Building and maintaining long-term relationships with current and existing clients.
Identifying and developing new business opportunities across the construction sector.
Sourcing, interviewing and placing skilled tradespeople and labour hire personnel.
Managing candidate compliance, onboarding and mobilisation.
Coordinating workforce allocations to meet client requirements.
Conducting site visits and maintaining regular client contact.
Building and maintaining a strong talent pool through ongoing candidate engagement.
Working towards recruitment, sales and service targets while delivering an outstanding experience for both clients and candidates.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is confident, relationship-driven and enjoys the challenge of recruitment. To be successful in this role, you'll have:
Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant, ideally within Construction, Trades or Labour Hire.
A proven ability to develop new business,



manage client accounts and build long-term relationships.
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‐building skills.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive, solutions‐focused approach and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional service.
The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
A current Australian Driver's Licence.
