two experienced Night Shift Maintenance Fitters

About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll join a team of nine skilled tradespeople (Mechanical & Electrical) responsible for maintaining a 24/7 production facility operating across multiple manufacturing lines.
You'll play a key role in improving plant reliability, minimising downtime and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance




Diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical equipment
Repair, service and maintain production machinery
Improve preventative maintenance schedules to maximise reliability
Assist with continuous improvement and plant upgrade projects
Maintain high standards of workplace safety and housekeeping
Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams
About You
Mechanical Trade Qualification (Fitter & Turner / Mechanical Engineering Tradesperson)
Experience in manufacturing, processing or industrial environments
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Experience with preventative maintenance systems
Ability to work independently and within a team
Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality
Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
Highly Regarded
Food manufacturing or FMCG experience
Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety systems
Experience using CMMS or other maintenance management software
