We are seeking a
motivated, hardworking and friendly Caretaker Couple
to join us at the Molesworth Recreation Reserve — a hidden gem on the banks of the Goulburn River within the Murrindindi Shire. This position reports directly to the
Molesworth Recreation Reserve Committee of Management
.
As this is an onsite, live‐in role, the successful applicants will be provided with
accommodation in addition to weekly salary if required
.
About the Role
You will manage our caravan park, which includes a mix of annual site holders and casual campers. The role is hands‐on, community‐focused, and ideal for a practical couple who enjoy working outdoors and engaging with visitors.
Seasonal Hours:
Off‐peak:
approx.
30 hours per week per couple
Peak season:
approx.
60 hours per week per couple
Key Responsibilities




Cleaning of toilets/showers, camp kitchen and BBQ areas
Grounds maintenance, mowing, gardening and general presentation
Ride‐on mower and power‐tool operation
Front office administration, bookings, reservations and collection of money
Providing guidance and support to new customers
Ensuring the park remains compliant with OH&S;, and Crown land requirements
Maintaining a welcoming, community‐minded environment
Basic computer skills;
RMS experience beneficial
(training provided)
Requirements
Excellent people skills and a friendly, community‐focused approach
Police Check
First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Valid rights to work in Australia
