As an Associate Dentist, you will provide high-quality preventive and restorative dental care in a calm, supportive private practice setting.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to build confidence and develop clinical skills with the support of an experienced team.
You will be encouraged to practise ethical, patient-centred dentistry while continuing to grow professionally.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing preventive dental care, including examinations, oral health education, periodontal assessment and treatment, and maintenance appointments.
Delivering high-quality restorative dentistry, including direct restorations and other routine general dental procedures appropriate to your level of experience.
Assisting with diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education to promote long-term oral health.
Providing gentle, thorough, and compassionate care for patients of all ages, including children, elderly patients, and those with dental anxiety.
Building strong, long-term patient relationships based on trust, empathy, and excellent communication.
Working collaboratively with experienced dentists, oral health therapists, dental assistants, and the wider practice team.
Maintaining high standards of clinical care, infection prevention and control, and professional conduct.
About you:
AHPRA-registered dentist with ADC-accredited qualifications.
A recent graduate or dentist with minimum one year of clinical experience.
Enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to continuous learning.
Eager to receive mentorship and develop clinical confidence in a supportive environment.
Calm, caring, and skilled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient-centred, ethical, and detail-oriented.
Able to work independently within your scope of practice while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Bachelor of Dental Science, or equivalent, ADC-accredited qualification.
Current AHPRA registration.
Current professional indemnity insurance.
Current CPR certification and knowledge of infection prevention and control requirements.
Commitment to ongoing continuing professional development (CPD).
Experience using digital dental software (training can be provided).
An interest in preventive dentistry, restorative dentistry, and building long-term patient relationships.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for contributing to a friendly practice culture.
