Our-owned and operated cafe located in Fortitude Valley is seeking experienced staff for the following position;
Barista all rounder x 2Baristas are responsible for preparing various kinds of drinks in a fast-paced hospitality settings.
Responsibilities:
Welcoming customers, taking their orders and handling payments
Describing the differences in coffee beans and roasts to customers
Grinding coffee using a coffee grinder and adjusting the grinder as needed
Preparing espresso-based coffee drinks.
Preparing other beverages, including tea, hot chocolate and frozen drinks
Duties:
Keeping coffee-making equipment clean throughout the day and following a procedure to thoroughly clean the equipment at the end of the day
replenishing shelves and fridges with required items




What we're looking for:
Experience in a busy cafe with outstanding coffee
A team player with a positive and professional communication style
A barista with passion
Exceptional attention to detail
Adherence to health and safety standards
Experience and Qualifications:
A barista certification and two years' work experience, or three years' work experience for those without relevant qualifications' high volume
