Bespoke Playgrounds is a family-owned Queensland business specialising in the design, construction and maintenance of custom timber playgrounds and nature play spaces.
We create inspiring outdoor environments for schools, childcare centres, councils and communities, with services including playground design and construction, maintenance, and the installation of soft fall and wet pour rubber surfacing.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for motivatedLandscapers and Labourersto join our friendly and experienced team.
Whether you have industry experience or are looking to learn a new trade, we provide on-the-job training and opportunities to develop your skills.
About the Role
As a valued member of our playground construction team, you'll enjoy a diverse role where no two days are the same.
Working alongside experienced carpenters and landscapers, your duties may include:
Preparing sites with base works and earthworks for new playgrounds.
Installing soft fall and wet pour rubber safety surfacing (training provided).
Creating nature play features such as dry creek beds and water play areas.
Carrying out repairs to wet pour rubber surfaces.
Performing general playground maintenance and repairs.
Assisting with the construction and installation of current playgrounds.
General labouring duties on-site.
Workshop tasks including painting timber and assembling activity panels.
Following safe work practices and Australian Playground Standards.
Working in small teams on a variety of projects across South East Queensland.
About You
To be successful, you'll have:
Australian working rights.
A current driver's licence.
A Construction White Card.
A willingness to obtain a Working with Children (Blue Card) before commencing employment.
A reliable work ethic with excellent attendance and punctuality.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Desirable (but Not Essential)
You'll stand out if you have:
An MR driver's licence.
Excavator or skid steer (Bobcat) operating experience.
A landscaping, carpentry or other relevant trade qualification.
Experience installing wet pour rubber surfacing.
