About the role As a Group Quality Coordinator at Ahkgroup, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our quality management systems are not only maintained but continuously improved across all divisions. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to quality assurance, as you will be responsible for implementing quality standards and procedures that align with industry best practices. What you'll do
Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems that comply with industry regulations and standards.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of quality processes and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality objectives are integrated into all operational processes.
Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas needing attention.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to address quality issues promptly and effectively.
Provide training and support to staff on quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance across the organization.




Monitor and analyze customer feedback and complaints to identify trends and develop strategies for improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure that the organization remains compliant and competitive.
Facilitate quality improvement projects, utilizing methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related inquiries and issues, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with suppliers and partners to ensure that quality standards are upheld throughout the supply chain.
Participate in the development of recent products and services, ensuring that quality considerations are integrated from the outset.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Quality Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO ****) and regulatory requirements.
Proven experience in conducting audits and assessments, with a track record of implementing corrective actions.




Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self‐motivated and capable of working independently.
Nice to have
Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO **** Lead Auditor) is a plus.
Experience with quality improvement methodologies such as Lean or Kaizen.
Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and software for quality data analysis.
Skills & tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quality management software.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high‐quality standards.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast‐paced environment.
Practical notes
This position is based in Liverpool, Merseyside, and may require occasional travel to other company locations or supplier sites.
The role may involve working outside of standard hours to accommodate audits or project deadlines.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is available for exceptional candidates.
