We are currently seeking anexperienced Garment Production Coordinatorto join our dynamic team.
This role is ideal for someone withstrong knowledge of women's apparel production, garment construction, and supplier communication with China factories.
You will play a key role inmanaging the production critical path from sample development through to bulk production and delivery, ensuring products are deliveredon time, on budget, and to high quality standards.
You will work closely with theBrand Manager, Designer and Sales Team, supporting all aspects of the production process in a quick-paced fashion environment.
Fluent Mandarin (spoken and written) is essentialfor communicating with overseas factories and translating technical production documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage theproduction critical pathfrom sampling through to bulk production and delivery
Work closely with theBrand Designer and Sales Managerto support product development
Attendweekly fit meetingsand coordinate production adjustments
Liaise daily withChina factoriesto manage production timelines, quality and delivery schedules
Prepare and translatesample packs, tech packs and trim packsfor overseas suppliers
Place production orders and managecustomer product development
Monitorbulk production progressand chase weekly delivery schedules
Conductgarment quality control checksto ensure measurements,



fit and construction meet specifications
Processrepeat ordersfor stores and maintain production records
Set upSKU and order information in Indigo8 ERP system
Coordinate withfreight forwarders and logistics providersto ensure smooth deliveries
Assist withcosting, production tracking and reporting using Excel
Skills & Experience
Minimum1+ years experience in a Fashion Production Coordinator / Garment Production rolewithin an Australian womenswear fashion company
Fluent Mandarin (spoken, reading and writing)— required for technical communication with Chinese suppliers and translation of production documentation
Strong understanding ofgarment construction, fabrics, measurements and apparel quality control
Experience working withChina garment factories and managing production timelines
Knowledge offashion production costing and manufacturing processes
Intermediate Excel skillsincluding formulas and production tracking
Experience coordinatingfreight, logistics and delivery schedules
Excellentorganisation, time management and attention to detail
Ability tomulti-task and work in a fast-paced fashion environment
Qualification inFashion Design, Textiles, Fashion Production, or related fieldis preferred
