What you will do:
Develop and implement robust acquisition, disposal,



and investment strategies to optimise asset performance.
Conduct comprehensive financial and commercial appraisals to ensure value for money and explore creative structuring options.
Monitor and manage property-related capital and revenue programming to support evidence-based decision making.
Lead negotiations with key stakeholders, developers, and partners to achieve the best outcomes for the council.
Commission and oversee external property and legal advisors, ensuring high-quality and timely results in line with council processes.
Provide expert strategic planning advice to determine site suitability for development, acquisition, or disposal.
Promote best practices and drive excellence in the council's disposal and acquisition activities, including developing management practices and procedures.
Ensure effective governance in property-related decisions for asset acquisition, management disposal, or development.
Deliver strategic advice, guidance, and support to the council, elected members, stakeholders, and external partners.
