About the role
We are looking for aproduct co-ordinator who possessesoutstanding product management and communication skillsand arecapable of working independently and within small cross-functional teams.
You must be a driven self-starter who can assist and coordinate multiple delivery by demonstrating solid organizationskills,andmeetingdeadlinesthat'scriticaltosuccessin the role.
The Product Manager is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of a portfolio of consumer electronics and mobile accessories.
The role combines market analysis, product strategy, supplier management, commercial planning, and cross-functional leadership to deliver profitable products that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Scope outglobal consumer research needs and target user pain points to identify articulated and non-articulated consumer needs.
Collaborate closely with engineering, portfolio and design teams to support various activities
Drive prototyping and subsequent productiterations to improve theoverallproduct experience.
Work internally with other teams,eg-engineering teams to build long-term product strategy and roadmaps.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations on launches.
Define product specifications, pricing, positioning, and packaging.
Manage the complete product lifecycle from concept through end-of-life.
Forecast demand and monitor inventory performance.
Analyse sales, margins, and profitability; recommend portfolio improvements.
Ensure compliance with Australian and international product standards.
Present business cases and product performance to senior management.
Assist multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Skills and experience
A curious approach with flair to better products experience.
Undergraduate degree in business, engineering, product design or related.
Demonstrated experience in a product management will be highly advantageous.
Experience working with Asian manufacturers and sourcing teams.
Knowledge of retail and distribution channels.
Objective and analytical: you seek data and know the difference between facts and opinions.
Strong understanding of product (hardware and software) life cycle process, engineering principles and design constraints.
Ability to quickly grasp technology constraints and capabilities.
Strong interest in consumer electronics and technology business, industry / industry issues and competitors.
Solid communication skills
