About the role
Cornell Fitness Centers is looking for a dedicated Electrical Engineer to enhance our technical team. This position involves hands-on work in the field of lightning science and advanced instrumentation. You will contribute to improving the operational resilience of essential assets and operations.

What you'll do
Design and develop electrical systems and components related to lightning resilience.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement innovative solutions for critical infrastructure.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in areas related to lightning protection and instrumentation.
Proficiency in circuit design, simulation tools,



and electrical testing methodologies.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex engineering problems.
Nice to have
Experience with lightning detection systems or related technologies.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations regarding electrical safety and resilience.
Skills & tools
Expertise in software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, and various circuit simulation tools.
Knowledge of electrical safety standards and best practices in engineering design.
Practical notes
This position may require occasional travel for project implementation and collaboration with clients.
