Site Foreman / Site Manager
We are seeking an experienced
Site Foreman / Site Manager
to join our team on a temporary contract for a major infrastructure project in Canberra. Due to changes in the project program and the need to mobilise two additional crews, we are looking for a capable site leader who can oversee day-to-day paving operations while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate paving works on site.
Lead site crews to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to program.
Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Coordinate plant, labour, and subcontractors to meet project objectives.
Monitor site progress and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
Ensure work is completed in accordance with project and client requirements.




About You
The successful candidate will have:
Proven experience managing paving works on civil infrastructure projects.
Robust understanding of construction safety and quality standards.
Current Forklift Licence.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Willingness and ability to successfully complete a Certificate III medical assessment.
