About the role
We are currently recruiting for 4 x Newly Created Maintenance Team Leaders(2 x day shift (6am – 6pm) and 2 x night shift (6pm – 6am) to join our Maintenance team, these roles will report to the Maintenance Manager.
The Role
This is a frontline leadership opportunity responsible for leading a team of 3–5 employees (depending on shift), driving safety, quality, performance, and team capability across one of our manufacturing areas.
In this role you will:
Be Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter, Electrician, or equivalent.
Experienced in manufacturing, FMCG, food processing, or a similar industrial environment.
Proven ability to lead maintenance teams and coordinate maintenance activities in a fast-paced operation.
Strong fault-finding, problem-solving,



and root cause analysis skills.
Experience using CMMS systems such as MEX.
Strong understanding of maintenance best practices, safety systems, and GMP requirements.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across teams.
About You
You are a trade-qualified maintenance professional with proven leadership experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a passion for safety, reliability, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support maintenance activities to maximise equipment reliability and performance.
Coordinate breakdown response, fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
Prioritise maintenance resources to support production requirements.
Drive continuous improvement and reduce equipment downtime.
Maintain accurate CMMS records and work orders.
Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and site standards.
Collaborate with Production and Operations teams to achieve business objectives.
Provide leadership and guidance to maintenance trades and contractors.
