Key Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
Service and maintenance on all heavy vehicle fleet.
Daignose faults in heavy vehicle, dismantling and removing faulty parts, replacing and repairing defective parts.
Perform scheduled vehicle maintenance services to all fleets.
Repairing and replacing transmissions, steering, braking systems and other vehicle parts.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, drivers and management.
Document all repairs.
Perform repairs to manufacturers specifications.
Carry out repairs in accordance with job sheet.
Perform final checks on vehicles.
Follow occupational health & safety requirements.
Skill & Experience
Qualification and Experience
Hold trade certificate or qualification in automotive mechanical trade with at least 2 years experience in the mechanical industry.
