The Role
Join one of our client's almond orchard operations in the Robinvale region as an Orchard Assistant or Orchard Technician, with full training provided - no prior agriculture experience needed. This hands‐on role has you working outdoors across irrigation, tree care and seasonal production, whether you're new to the industry or already have some orchard experience. It's a great fit if you enjoy physical outdoor work, take safety seriously, and want a role that keeps you on your feet.
Key Responsibilities
You'll play an significant role in supporting orchard operations, ensuring trees, equipment and irrigation systems are maintained to a high standard while assisting the team with seasonal production activities.
Operate orchard machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
Assist with irrigation installation, maintenance and repairs
Complete general orchard maintenance tasks
Support seasonal orchard activities as directed
Always follow workplace health and safety procedures
Perform additional duties as requested by the supervisor

Competitive pay: $*****/hr (Assistant) to $*****/hr (Technician), plus penalty rates
38+ hours per week on average, with additional hours available during peak periods
4 weeks paid annual leave + 10 days paid personal/carer's leave per year
Your Skills & Experience
No previous agriculture experience required
Current driver's licence
Unrestricted, ongoing work rights in Australia
Comfortable with manual outdoor work, including lifting and standing for long period.
Willing to work in varying weather conditions
Reliable, safety-conscious and able to follow instructions.
Works well independently and in a team
Prior orchard or machinery experience a plus, not essential
