Due to ongoing growth, Trident Financial is currently looking for a motivated experienced accountant to join our team. This is a permanent ongoing position that offers excellent opportunity to kick off your career in a well-established and progressive accounting firm in the Eastern suburb.
You'll be part of a close-knit and supportive team and working alongside with Managers and Partners to provide a range of taxation service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of financial accounts for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
Preparation and lodgement of income tax returns, BAS
Liaising with clients, ATO and other authorities to ensure tax obligations are met
General bookkeeping and data entries
Administrative works and payroll
Skill and experience:
Our ideal candidate will have:




Degree qualification in accounting or equivalent discipline
At least 2-3 years prior experience at a professional or accounting service firm (must be an international company if work experiences from overseas)
Exposure to Xero or similar accounting software is advantageous
Excellent communication skills with customer-orientated mindset
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
High level of initiative, attention to details and willingness to learn
