About the role
Performing a broad range of studies across general, MSK, vascular, obstetrics, small parts and interventional ultrasound
Managing and mentoring a team of sonographers, from one-on-one training of new graduates to upskilling experienced colleagues
Developing and delivering sonographer training and CPD programs
Educating referrers and presenting clinical information across a range of formats
Championing quality, patient care and positive change within the team
Collaborating closely with Radiologists and clinic staff to keep workflow running smoothly
About you
Extensive ultrasound experience across musculoskeletal, vascular, general, obstetrics and interventional imaging
Previous leadership experience managing a team of sonographers
A natural mentor with experience training beginner sonographers, developing training programs and delivering CPD
Confident communicator, comfortable presenting and sharing knowledge through a variety of media
Skilled at prioritising busy workloads, working both independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solver with a genuine commitment to quality and patient care
Qualifications & requirements
Recognised qualification in medical imaging, or equivalent
Current ASAR accreditation
Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
Appropriate Australian or New Zealand work rights
