Role Overview
The Production Technician plays a vital role in assembling and testing components and systems to meet strict specifications. This position is essential in ensuring that quality, safety, and performance standards are consistently achieved, supporting efficient production flow while contributing to ongoing enhancements in manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities




The Production Technician will be accountable for:
Assembling components and systems accurately to engineering specifications and work instructions.
Conducting functional and quality tests to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards.
Operating hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment in a safe and effective manner.
Maintaining accurate records of build data and test results while identifying non-conformance issues.
Collaborating with various teams to achieve targets and resolve production challenges.
Participating in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to enhance quality.
Upholding health and safety protocols, conducting safety audits, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting or Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical).
7-10 years of experience in high-precision mechanical assembly and testing within complex production environments.
Proven knowledge of mechanical drawings and schematic interpretation.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on customer service and relationship-building.
High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
