Vine Apartments South Brisbane is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our team in a full-time position based in South Brisbane, QLD ****.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in property management whilst supporting the day-to-day operations of our residential apartment complex.
You will work closely with the Property Manager to ensure our owners, tenants and short-stay guests receive exceptional service and that the property is maintained to the highest standards.
This role is fundamental to the smooth running of the building and offers exposure to all aspects of property administration and management.
Key responsibilities
Assisting with the day-to-day management and administration of the residential apartment complex
Processing tenant applications, lease agreements, and handling move-in and move-out procedures
Coordinating maintenance requests and liaising with contractors and service providers
Responding to resident enquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
Conducting property inspections and monitoring the condition of common areas and resident spaces
Maintaining comprehensive property records, including tenancy files and maintenance logs
Assisting with short-term rentals, guest check-ins/check-outs.
Supporting marketing, leasing and booking activities to maximise occupancy rates
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and body corporate requirements
What we're looking for
Proven experience in property administration or property management or hotel management, ideally within a residential setting or hospitality setting.
Robust organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and property management software
Knowledge of relevant property legislation and tenancy laws in Queensland
Strong customer service orientation and ability to handle resident interactions professionally
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and financial administration
Ability to work independently and as part of a team under the supervision of the Property Manager
A valid driver's licence and own transport are desirable
Relevant qualifications or certifications in property management or administration are advantageous
