Some of the key responsibilities include:
Greet and assist customers in renting vehicles as based on their preferences and needs
Process rental agreements accurately and efficiently
Promote and upsell additional products and services
Address customer inquires and concerns promptly and professionally, with a service first approach
Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets
Inspect vehicles before and after rental periods, noting any damages
Maintain knowledge of current promotions, services, and products to assist with sales efforts
Build robust customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
Detaling and cleaning vehicles to business quality standards
Refuel and transport vehicles
To be considered, you should possess:
Previous experience in sales, customer service or retail
Car rental experience is highly desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset
Confident using computer systems and technology
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Flexibility to work on a rotating shift roster - 7 day shift work including weekends and public holidays
Valid Australian driver's license with a clean driving record

At the end of the 19th century, the car was a luxury reserved for the elite, but interested everyone, attracting crowds: in ****, the first car show was held in Paris. Car rental will see the light a few years later, across the Atlantic, but its development will be stopped by the first and then by the Second World Wars. In the aftermath of the war, a Parisian entrepreneur revived the idea: "If you can't afford to buy a car, why not rent one when you need it?". His name was Raoul-Louis Mattei and in ****, he created "L'Abonnement Automobile": a company that would later become the Compagnie Internationale Europcars, then Europcar. Its headquarters, located 11 rue du Champ de Mars also included a rental agency. The company's success was rapid, as car rental responded to a real need. In ****, l'Abonnement Automobile was the first company for car rental without a driver and its fleet counted ***** CV.
