About the role
Bright Futures NQ PTY LTD' is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in Cairns, Queensland.

What you'll be doing
Providing personalised care and support to clients with a range of disabilities, including physical, intellectual, and mental health needs
Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
Facilitating participation in recreational, social, and educational activities to promote independence and community engagement
Advocating for client needs and collaborating with allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive support
Maintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
Fostering a positive, empathetic, and inclusive environment that respects the dignity and individuality of each client
What we're looking for
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to advocating for the rights and wellbeing of individuals with disabilities




Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse and changing needs of clients
A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
