Dental Assistant – Certificate IV (Full-Time)
Canberra Surgicentreis a specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice located inBraddon, ACT.
We are seeking a motivated and experiencedDental Assistant with a Certificate IV in Dental Assistingto join our friendly and professional team on a full-time basis.
This is a diverse hybrid role offering a combination of clinical assisting, sterilisation, radiography, and front desk administration.
You will work alongside our specialist surgeons in a fast-paced and supportive workplace.
Working Hours
Full-time position with consideration for part time
Monday to Friday
Rostered shifts between7:30 am and 5:00 pm
Key Responsibilities
Assist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons with dental extractions and oral surgery procedures under local anaesthetic.
Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a safe, efficient clinical environment.
Clean, sterilise, and maintain surgical instruments in accordance with infection control standards.
Take OPG (panoramic) X-rays.




Download and manage various CBCT scan files.
Provide front desk reception support, including patient bookings, answering telephone enquiries, and administrative tasks.
Deliver exceptional patient care and support throughout the patient journey.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate IV in Dental Assisting.
Current experience as a Dental Assistant.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
