This well reputed Chartered Accountancy firm is a local, Australian owned company and has been in business for over 10 years.
Due to an internal move, they have a vacancy for a Senior CA who will also be a Supervisor to 5 Accountants.
You will be based in their lovely office in Penrith and there is close proximity to free parking or public transport.
This business prides themselves on having a nice place to work.
It's worth noting that this business boasts good tenures amongst their staff which is indicative of the lovely working setting and supportive leadership they offer.
The role:
Managing your own workload, you will be a part of a team of 7 and your role will roughly be a split of 70% Accounting and 30% Supervisory responsibilities.
You will be responsible for the following:
Managing a team of 5
Supporting and mentoring your team
Checking your teams work
Managing high income clients business and personal accounting




Undertaking complicated accounting
Helping to grow the business
About you
We are looking for a supportive and experienced accountant to join their existing team with a strong focus on mentoring and supporting more junior accountants and helping them to develop their skills.
We are ideally looking for the following key skills and attributes:
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting (Essential) as well as CA or CPA.
A minimum of 5 - 10 years of Accounting experience
Experience working with Doctors will be highly regarded
A minimum of 5 years of management or supervisory experience
Superior communication and management skills
A friendly, professional, and supportive nature
A Team player mindset

Housekeeping:
Your hours will ideally be 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday (Flexible)
