We're expanding our ACT team and are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator / Supervisor to manage insurance claims across Canberra.
About the Role
Based in Mascot, this senior role combines estimating, project supervision, and client liaison.
You'll:
Conduct detailed site assessments and prepare accurate scopes of work (SOWs).
Manage end-to-end delivery of insurance repair projects, ensuring timely, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes.
Allocate work orders, coordinate trades, and monitor project milestones.
Conduct site inspections and quality control in line with insurer requirements, WHS regulations, and Nexus standards.
Identify and manage variations to protect scope and profitability.
Maintain clear documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, insurers, and subcontractors.




What We're Looking For
Trade qualification (Carpentry or similar)
Minimum 5 years' experience in insurance estimating and site supervision
Knowledge of residential building, insurance repairs, construction codes and standards
Digital literacy - Prime, insurer portals, project management software
Valid Driver's Licence and White Card
Highly regarded:
Experience with major loss, commercial, residential or strata claims
Certificate IV in Building & Construction
