We are seeking an experienced Contract Operations Co-ordinator with experience in the steel industry.
This role will be based on our clients site in Northgate.
The role covers both a driving fleet that is local and regional.
It will require travel to regional areas in QLD (Bundaberg, Gladstone and Toowoomba) on at least a quarterly basis.
This role will entail:
Manage assets, people and contract to achieve optimal fleet utilisation and contract performance
Overseeing and ensuring operational tasks are completed as per company and client requirements
Ensure administration and fleet allocation processes meet all deadlines and are accurate
Maintain and ensure protected system of work are enforced, monitored and enabled at both the loading, load restraint, driving and unloading ends of the transport task.
Report back to Leadership Team and customer review programs (daily weekly and monthly) with KPI reports
Track profitability and cost control in consideration of the contract and operating requirements




You must be able to demonstrate safe work practices and be confident to lead a team
Qualifications required for this role:
Drivers licence - Heavy vehicle licence is preferred but not essential
Forklift HRW licence preferred but not essential
Business or Logistics Diploma or Certificate is highly desired
Have good computer literacy skills including use of MS Office programs
