Business Development Manager - Construction
An exciting opportunity has become available for aBusiness Development Managerto represent two highly respected businesses operating within the built environment.
Working acrossland surveyingandbuilding certification, you'll be responsible for developing new relationships, strengthening existing client partnerships, and identifying opportunities across the construction and development industry.
This role would suit an experiencedconstruction BDM, but it's also an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical background—such as anArchitect, Building Designer, Building Surveyor, Town Planner, Engineer or Project Manager—who enjoys working with people and wants to transition into a client-facing business development role.

Key Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities across Sydney
Build relationships with architects, builders, developers, certifiers and consultants
Identify opportunities for both surveying and building certification services
Maintain and grow an existing network of industry contacts
Attend networking events, client meetings and industry functions
Prepare proposals and follow up new enquiries
Work closely with internal technical teams to ensure excellent client outcomes




Develop strategies to increase market presence and brand awareness
About You
Experience in business development, sales or account management within construction, property or the built environmentOR
Technical experience as an Architect, Building Designer, Building Surveyor, Town Planner, Engineer, Project Manager or similar looking to move into business development
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Existing industry network is highly regarded
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Commercial mindset with a genuine passion for developing client relationships
Current Australian Driver's Licence

One specialises inland surveying, delivering cadastral, engineering and construction surveying services for developers, builders, infrastructure projects and private clients across New South Wales.

With a strong focus on customer service and practical advice, they work closely with builders, architects, developers and homeowners to deliver successful project outcomes.
