We'relooking for aMarketing Assistantto join the Hutch Underwriting to manage broker events and education.
This is not a junior admin role.
You will own the end-to-end delivery of Hutch's broker conference and events programme and lead the operational execution of the Hutch Masterclass Series, our flagship broker education initiative.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Marketing you'llalso contribute to our growing content output, including video and podcast production andwebinarmanagement, working closely with underwriters, business development, and senior leadership.
Events & Conferences
Own end-to-end planning andlogisticsof sponsored broker conferences, booth design, activations, including merch sourcing, and event briefings.
Manage relationships with conference organisers, venues, and suppliers, negotiate inclusions, and ensure Hutch's brand presence is executed to standard.
Coordinate team memberlogistics, including event briefings, registration, travel, and pre-event rehearsals, ifrequired.
Track event ROI and report on broker engagement outcomes to the Head of Marketing.
Masterclass Program
Build and manage the six-month Masterclass content calendar, working with underwriters and business development toidentifyCPD-relevant topics that resonate with brokers.
Coordinate all pre-eventlogistics: registration, platform setup, speaker briefings, run sheets, and tech rehearsals.
Moderate or support live sessions, managing engagement, troubleshooting, and participant experience in real time.
Produce and distribute post-event content: recording edits, summary emails, LinkedIn posts, blog summaries, and repurposed short-form clips.
Manage CPD accreditation and renewal processes for the Masterclass program, including submissions, compliance requirements, record keeping, and ongoing maintenance of accredited status.
Qualifications & Experience
You have at least 3 years of experience in events coordination,



marketing, or communications, with a strong events portfolio.
Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred.
Hands-onwebinarmanagement experience with Microsoft Teams and HubSpot.
Video production experience, including recording, editing, coordination, and distribution.
Familiarity withWitsiais an advantage.
Proficiencyin HubSpot (Marketing Enterprise),Asana,Microsoft Office, Illustrator, and Canva.
Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines across events, content, and stakeholders simultaneously.
A sharp, clear writing style Youdon'tneed to be a qualified copywriter, but you should be able to generate a LinkedIn post thatdoesn'tlook like a typical corporate post and that reads like a press release.
