About Us:
Griffith Almet Engineering specialise in all aluminium, stainless and mild steel fabrications and general engineering, we specialise in custom tray bodies, tool boxes and aluminium bars.
We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional craftsmanship and precision, and we're looking for Qualified and Apprentice Welder/Fabricators to join our team.
As a Welder/Fabricator at Griffith Almet Engineering, you will be responsible for welding, cutting, and fabricating various metals and materials according to blueprints, specifications, and project requirements.
You will work on diverse projects, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Weld and fabricate components using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts using hand tools and machinery.
Maintain a protected and clean work environment by following safety protocols and procedures.
Inspect and test welded joints and components for quality and accuracy.




Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and specifications.
Troubleshoot and repair metal structures and equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a welder/fabricator is preferred but not necessary.
Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) is preferred but not necessary.
Experience with metal cutting and fabrication tools (e.g., plasma cutters, grinders, etc.) is an advantage but not essential.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Physical stamina and ability to handle welding equipment and heavy materials.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
