Australian Drafting & Design is seeking an experiencedElectrical Drafterwith strongMicroStationskills andsubstationexperience to join our growing team in Perth.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a range of high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects, producing quality engineering documentation for transmission and distribution substations.
The position will commence on a contract basis with the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time role based on performance, project requirements and ongoing workload.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare electrical drawings usingMicroStation.
Produce substation general arrangements, layouts, schematics, wiring diagrams and cable schedules.
Update existing drawings from engineering mark-ups.
Ensure documentation complies with client standards and Australian Standards.
Coordinate with engineers and project teams to deliver accurate project documentation.
Essential Requirements
Minimum5 years' experienceas an Electrical Drafter.
Advanced proficiency inMicroStation.
Proven experience onHV transmission and distribution substations.
Strong understanding of electrical drafting standards.
Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail.
Australian working rights.
Desirable
AutoCAD experience.
Experience working toWestern Power,Rio Tinto,BHP, or similar utility/mining standards.
Protection and control drawing experience.
Experience with brownfield substation upgrades.
