Apprentice Machinist
These full time positions offer hands-on training while you complete a nationally recognized trade qualification.
What You'll Learn
Apprentice Boilermaker
Fabricating and assembling steel components
Welding, cutting and preparing materials
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Safely using fabrication equipment, hand tools and power tools
Apprentice Machinist
Operating manual and CNC machinery
Manufacturing precision components
Reading engineering drawings and specifications
Using measuring and inspection equipment
Setting up machines and tooling
We are looking for applicants who:




Have a genuine interest in engineering and learning a trade
Are reliable, punctual and willing to learn
Take pride in producing quality work
Have good communication and teamwork skills
Show strong attention to detail
Understand the importance of workplace safety
Hold a driver's licence and have reliable transport—preferred
Have completed a relevant pre-apprenticeship or work experience—advantageous but not essential
School leavers, mature-age applicants and candidates who have already started an apprenticeship are encouraged to apply.
