Address: 2 Harper St, Harvey WA **** Salary :- AUD 71,500 to AUD 74,000 plus Super Minimum Requirements:
AQF Certificate IV with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role Roles and Responsibilities Supervise daily front-of-house retail operations and report directly to the Store Manager.
Coordinate staff rosters, task allocation and service activities during busy trading periods.
Monitor customer service standards and assist staff in handling customer enquiries and complaints.
Oversee the display, replenishment and presentation of Harper Street Bakery & Café products including artisan breads, pies, sausage rolls, sandwiches, cakes, slices and pastries.
Ensure shelves, counters and display cabinets remain clean, organised and fully stocked throughout the day.
Assist with cash handling, POS transactions and end-of-shift reconciliation procedures.
Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering or replenishment needs to the Manager.
Train and support junior front-of-house staff in service procedures, hygiene requirements and product knowledge.
Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety and store operating procedures.
Assist the Manager with opening and closing duties and maintain smooth day-to-day store operations.
Skills and Competencies Experience supervising staff in a bakery, café or retail food environment.
Solid customer service and communication skills.
Ability to coordinate daily operations and support team performance.
Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling and stock control procedures.
Understanding of food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery and café setting.
