About the Role
TheHead of Primary Studiesis a key member of the Primary leadership team who works collaboratively to support excellent teaching, student growth, staff development and the delivery of high-quality Christian education.
The successful applicant will provide leadership within their phase of the Primary School, partnering with teachers, students and families to foster a culture of learning, wellbeing, faith formation and continuous improvement.




Working collaboratively with staff and College leadership, responsibilities include:
Supporting excellence in teaching and learning.
Leading and mentoring staff.
Contributing to strategic improvement initiatives.
Using data to inform decision-making.
Promoting student engagement, wellbeing and achievement.
Supporting curriculum implementation and compliance requirements.
Building strong partnerships with families and the wider College community.
About You
An active Christian faith and commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Groves Christian College.
Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration or eligibility.
A passion for developing transformational learning experiences for young people.
Strong understanding of contemporary teaching and learning practices.
Experience leading evidence-based literacy and numeracy initiatives.
The ability to use student data to inform and drive improvement initiatives.
Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills.
Initiative, adaptability and a desire to contribute to a thriving Christian learning community.
