Training will be considered for the right person.
What you'll be doing
We are seekingCasualLicensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join the growing team!
This position supports the long-term contracts that Menzies Aviation Engineering holds with international airlines and airfreight operators in Cairns.
You will become part of a dedicated engineering team responsible for line maintenance, defect rectification, and AOG repairs.
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual with a positive attitude who enjoys working within a small, flexible, and friendly team setting.

To be eligible for this position you must
Hold CASA B1 / NZ-CAA License
Hold B737NG
Have exercised license privileges within the last 24 months
Be able to obtain an ASIC and ADA
Eligible to work/ Live in Australia
Must be based or willing to relocate to live in the Brisbane area.

Previous experience in the same or similar role for a minimum of 5 years within the aviation industry

Effective and efficient time management skills
Strong written & verbal communicationskills, with a focus on detail
