$*****–$***** per hour + salary packaging | Grade 3 Allied Health Assistant – Care Communities Permanent Part Time or Full Time | Multiple Positions About The Role This senior role provides the opportunity to lead Allied Health Assistants across our care communities (residential aged care).
You'll contribute to safe, effective therapy delivery, coordinate day-to-day workflows, and support the development of junior staff while shaping ongoing service improvements.
Lead and guide AHAs across care communitiesDeliver individual and group therapy programsOversee supervision and delegation of AHP-directed tasksMaintain strong communication with the care team and partnersSupport service planning and quality improvementMentor junior AHAs, students, and recent staff Key Responsibilities Provide leadership across the AHA teamSupervise and delegate delegated AHP tasksImplement therapy programs and monitor outcomesCommunicate updates and concerns promptlyParticipate in service development activitiesSupport learning and orientation for junior staff Skills & Experience Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent)Ability to implement therapy under AHP supervisionStrong leadership and communication skillsAble to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamCommitment to continuous improvement To see a full copy of the Position Description, please click here.
