Aquatec Maxcon is Australia's leading provider of water and wastewater treatment technologies.
We are seeking an experienced QHSE Officer to support quality, health, safety and environmental outcomes across our site projects and operations. This role is suited to someone who can practically apply QHSE requirements in the field and work collaboratively with Project Managers, Engineers, tradespeople and clients to maintain high standards across the business.
Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, you will have a track record of providing practical QHSE leadership. Fundamental to success in this position will be a proven ability to operationalise quality, health, safety and environmental systems in a construction and/or manufacturing setting. Ideally, you will have 5+ years' experience in a similar QHSE, HSE or quality/safety role and be confident working across project delivery teams, site personnel and client representatives.
You will have a track record of:
5+ years' experience in a QHSE, HSE, WHS or quality/safety role, ideally within construction, infrastructure, manufacturing or water industry projects




Formal qualifications in WHS, quality, environmental management or a related discipline
Strong understanding of quality, safety and environmental management systems, procedures and compliance requirements
Proven communication skills with the ability to engage, coach and build effective relationships with Project Managers, Engineers, tradespeople, subcontractors and clients
Ability to support and deliver QHSE programs at a project and operational level
Practical knowledge of risk management, inspections, audits, incident investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement processes
Previous experience working on water treatment, infrastructure or government projects will be well regarded. This role will be predominantly site-based, depending on the projects we have underway at the time, and some travel within Queensland and Australasia will be involved.
