Key Responsibilities
Banquet & Event Service
Set up and break down banquet halls and event spaces according to floor plans and event specifications
Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and event décor to a high standard
Provide professional and attentive service to guests during events
Serve food and beverages in line with service standards
Liaise with kitchen, bar, and service teams to ensure smooth event execution
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of event spaces before, during, and after events
Assist with basic audio-visual setup and minor troubleshooting where required
Bar & Cocktail Service
Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, coffee, and beverages with consistency and flair
Demonstrate strong knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail techniques
Engage with guests, provide recommendations, and deliver exceptional customer service
Maintain bar cleanliness, organisation,



and stock levels
Monitor and replenish bar supplies and assist with inventory management
General
Adhere to all health, safety, and RSA regulations
Work collaboratively with the wider hospitality team to deliver seamless service
Remain adaptable in a rapid-paced, high-volume environment
About You
Previous experience in banquet service, events, bar work, or cocktail bartending is highly regarded but not essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Customer-focused with a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate loads
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Qualifications & Experience
Bartending or cocktail experience preferred (minimum 1 year ideal)
Coffee skills highly regarded
RSA required (or willingness to obtain)
