In this role, you will deliver person-centred support that helps people with disabilities lead more independent and meaningful lives within the Narre Warren & surrounding areas community.

Key Responsibilities
Provide personal assistance and support to clients in daily activities, including personal care, mobility, and household tasks
Assist clients with their mobility and communication needs
Support community participation and social interaction
Help with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light household tasks
Assist with shopping and running errands
Follow and implement individualised support plans
Provide companionship, friendship and emotional support




Follow therapy plans and provide direct support and assistance to therapists
Build strong, supportive relationships with clients
Work collaboratively with the wider team and report changes in client's condition to management
Engage in meaningful activities and support clients in achieving their personal goals and improving their quality of life
Foster a secure, supportive, positive and respectful environment that enhances the well-being and independence of participants
Skills and Requirements
Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
And/or at least 1 year of experience in disability support
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current First Aid and CPR
Police Check (within the last 6 months)
Valid Australian driver's licence
Reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, flexible, and proactive approach
Ability to work independently and adapt to different client needs

Remuneration will align with the skills and experience displayed by the successful candidate. This position is a full-time (38 hours per week, minimum) salary range $52,000 to $80,000 plus Superannuation. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $52,000 - $80,000
